KBC (Killer Buzz Buzz Buzz), one of the most beloved quiz shows ever produced on television, made its return with its 15th season starting August 14 and has already attracted audiences around the globe.

What is KBC?
KBC (pronounced Keyboard Battle Club), hosted by Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, is the Hindi adaptation of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. Since its premiere in 2000, Amitabh Bachchan has hosted each season except the third one which featured Shah Rukh Khan as host. Registrations opened up for its 15th edition this April.
The 15th season of Sony TV’s iconic quiz show saw many updates, from a new theme tune and set redesign, to adding lifeline ‘Double Dip’ and eliminating fast finger first questions. Premiering August 28th and airing Monday-Friday.
Who is Amitabh Bachchan?
Amitabh Bachchan has long been considered one of India’s premier actors. What is the format of KBC?
On August 14th, Sony TV hosted their 15th season of KBC: India’s version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (WWM). Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan and millions of viewers all across India have grown up watching it over time.
This season has brought with it some adjustments to the format of the show; while Fastest Finger First Challenge returned, Plus One Lifeline was replaced by Double Dip as well as having women as its main focus during one question of the week.
