Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is an entertaining film-industry-set drama. Drashti Dhami plays Druvhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon who seeks an idyllic lifestyle.

But fate had other plans in store for her: She meets and falls in love with Bollywood superstar Rishabh Kundra aka RK.

Drashti Dhami has been an integral part of Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon for years, her chemistry with Vivian Dsena being one of the primary draws to watch it. Therefore, her fans were saddened to hear she would no longer be on screen.

This spectacular show set in Bollywood celebrated 100 years of Indian cinema. It became a tremendous hit and garnered immense fanship.

The show took an unexpected 20 year leap, showing Madhubala and RK’s daughter. Her actress is often compared to Madhubala; nonetheless she proves herself an adept performer who contributes significantly to the show.

Vivian Dsena

The show took a 20 year leap forward as RK and Madhubala’s daughter grew up. She looks identical to Madhubala and is constantly being compared with her. Madhubala worked as secretary to the man responsible for their deaths.

Saurabh Tewari plans on bringing back most of the original cast for season 2.

Pallavi Purohit

Pallavi Purohit has made her mark as an actress since 2006. She is best-known for playing Gayatri on Karam Apna Apna and Urvashi Sanghvi on Basera before landing Damini Verma roles in Mr. Fraud as well as Kannada movie Kaanchi.

The show follows RK and Madhubala as they navigate their complex romance before marrying each other and transitioning into basic saas-bahu drama that eventually loses its charm.

The show features some remarkable performances by its cast, yet the slow pace can make it difficult to watch at times. Furthermore, Madhubala’s continuous crying can become tiresome at times. It currently airs on Colors TV.

Sikandar Khan

Nautanki Films’ hit show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon will return for its second season on Colors TV this October, taking an unconventional 20-year leap and featuring Vivian Dsena as superstar RK.

He will portray Rajkumar, an eight-year old mental patient. This actor has performed in numerous shows and won hearts through their performances.

Sikandar is well-known for his work on Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. With an immense fan base behind him and incredible acting skills he adds an additional level of drama to these shows.

Seema Mishra

Seema Mishra is best known as the ‘Lata Mangeshkar of Rajasthan’ due to her soulful melodies. As a singer hailing from Jhunjhunu Temple City in Rajasthan and having won various awards for her singing skills; Seema also performs live at various events and venues across India.

As well as acting, she works as a freelance artist and writer under Lonely Canopy as an artist/writer specializing in art, travel writing and illustration projects. In her free time she enjoys watching movies, dancing and traveling – with particular fondness for Central and Western Europe where she was cast as the lead role in Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon TV Show.

Rakhee Tandon

Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon features Drashti Dhami as Madhubala Kundra and has been on air for over 20 years – making a hugely successful show among Indian television audiences and notable for its spectacular chemistry between its leads.

Madhu, daughter of RK and Madhubala, has since grown up, working in the film industry alongside someone responsible for their death.

Rakhee Tandon has long been recognized in Indian television circles. She achieved recognition through her portrayal of Sweety Mathur in Hum Paanch; but has also appeared in Dekh Bhai Dekh, Banegi Apni Baat and Naagin 4.
