Playtech Opens Live Dealer Studio in Pennsylvania

Playtech, a gaming technology company based in the Isle of Man, recently opened a live dealer studio in Pennsylvania. This is the third studio it has opened in the U.S. The recent launch gives Playtech a live studio in three out of the six states where online gambling is regulated in the country. The new launch was part of a tri-state iGaming project which is now completed.

Previous launches

Playtech previously launched two live casino facilities simultaneously in Michigan and New Jersey. It launched its live casino facility in Michigan in collaboration with Parx Interactive under the Play Gun Lake brand. Parx Casino is one of Playtech’s most significant partners in the US and a market leader in terms of land-based gaming revenue in the country.

Live dealer competition

Evolution has had a monopoly in the U.S. when it comes to live dealer partnerships with online gambling operators. Its presence is significant, and it has one of the most prominent studios in Pennsylvania. Playtech is making some substantial moves and continues to strengthen its partnerships with operators across the country. With the new studio launching in Pennsylvania, it could give Evolution a challenge.

Another competitor is Authentic Gaming, which is authorized to offer live dealer games in Michigan. With more live dealer partnerships developing, it will be interesting to see what happens in the future. Bally Casino is scheduled to open in Rhode Island in 2024, and it will offer live dealer games.

The new live dealer studio

The new live dealer studio in Pennsylvania is Playtech’s largest one in the U.S., and the facility will soon be operating around the clock. It will allow players to play VIP blackjack and roulette. Playtech is the biggest live dealer casino supplier in Asia and Europe. State-of-the-art cameras broadcast in premium HD quality. Fast streaming and high up-time offers to deliver players an authentic live gaming experience for players.

A dynamic user interface

Playtech’s front-end user interface for playing live dealer games is dynamic and personalized. It is supported by a powerful business intelligence platform. Those visiting Pennsylvania in 2024 and wanting to play live dealer games will enjoy a seamless experience.

Superior mobile technology

Playtech commits to driving innovation within the gaming industry. This includes its superior mobile technology. Now, players can even play live dealer games from their mobile phones without any difficulty. For people waiting in queues or spending hours at busy airports, playing live dealer games provides an exciting way to pass the time. For example, players are now able to play live roulette on a mobile and simultaneously view their bets as the roulette wheel spins.

What the future could hold

Playtech’s live dealer products on other continents already offer augmented reality. Some of its games that use this technology include blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. It could be only a matter of time before live gaming in the U.S. incorporates augmented and virtual reality. This type of technology would make live dealer games even more immersive than they already are.
