Naagin TV Series

Naagin is an Indian television series produced by Ekta Kapoor under Balaji Telefilms that follows an unconventional female serpent who seeks revenge against snake-charmers. The series boasts a fast-paced narrative unlike most stereotype saas-bahu dramas.

Tejasswi makes Pratha an engaging character; her humble yet fierce disposition is depicted perfectly by this actor.

Storyline

Though Ekta Kapoor had previously shown this story of Naagin many times before, Ekta Kapoor made her version stand out through excellent acting performances by her actors. Mouni Roy shines as the sensitive yet beautiful Shivanya and seamlessly shifts between dark and lighter tones when needed; Sudha Chandran and Adaa Khan shine just as brilliantly as Yamini Singh and Sesha respectively.

Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) and Shivanya are on the run from a group of goons when their story starts off with her having stomach cramps which force her into hospital where doctors tell her she is in labour.

As she decides to abandon her powers as Shesh Naagin and embrace a more normal existence with Rishabh, Meheck plans on betraying her upon meeting Pratha; unfortunately the show’s exterior scenery and camera angles seem unrealistic and are somewhat off.

Cast

This supernatural drama follows Mahek as she fights against both good and evil forces a global pandemic called Coronavirus which attacks and kills humans worldwide. Mahek must save her family while at the same time fighting off Asuras who want to destroy her power and take down their influence in her power base.

Cast of the show features several popular actors and actresses who have excelled in other shows, with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary of Udariyaan fame having gained quite an audience, helping increase TRPs of her series.

Rakshanda Khan as Sumitra: Former Naagin from Sheshnag clan and now Naagrani of Nidhog Clan. She is Ruhi and Bela’s mother after killing Andy’s real wife Sumitra to assume her identity; also step mother to Yuvraj, Vikrant and Kuhu.

Surbhi Chandna played Bani Sharma, an incarnation of Naageshwari; during her travels she met Jay (Mohit Sehgal) and Veer (Sharad Malhotra); however Bani disliked Veer but was forcibly married by him until Shesha and her family also made amends with Shivanya again this season before finally being replaced by Kuch Toh Hai this year.
